Absolutely fabulous 1967 Rover 2000TC Series 1 with the rare factory wire wheels option.
Zircon blue with sandstone connolly hide interior and rare ET headrests.
Two previous owners with a genuine 83k miles from new.
The first owner from Southgate, London owned the car from new for 26 years until February 1993 when he sold it to a gentleman from Rochester, Kent. He kept the car for 23 years until I bought it in 2016.
It's a very rare car, especially having the wire wheels option, which was only available on the TC for a short time. Special splined hubs were designed for the TC, so you couldn't just bolt on different wheels. For the wires you had to have the factory option.
The ET front seat headrests are also a rare option.
The car was totally stripped and taken back to bare metal a good few years ago and was re-etched, primed and repainted in the original colour of Zircon blue code no.JCF and still looks stunning to this day.
Electronic ignition was also fitted.
Tyres are Michelin and are like new.
New servo a few years ago.
De-Dion tubes replaced with galvanised ones.
SU carbs rebuilt and polished and fitted with chrome covers.
Badge bar and badges.
Chrome original Lucas Square 8 spotlights fitted.
Front static seat belts fitted.
All the chrome is in fabulous condition.
I've just had the car fully serviced and a full MOT pre-check done on it.
All the brakes were stripped down and cleaned. Handbrake adjusted.
All wheel bearings were checked and the OSR was stripped and replaced.
Track rod ends were inspected and new split pins were fitted.
The carburettors were adjusted and tuned.
The car was then road tested.
It's a fabulous early 2000TC and drives superbly.
The car comes with the original handbook, various bills/invoices, loads of old MOT certificates, etc.
I think it's the best original series 1 Rover 2000TC P6 in the country with low ownership, mileage and provenance.

Having received a sympathetic nut and bolt restoration, completed in June 2018, this Rover has just been returned to the road. It is a beautiful example of the marque and retains much of its originality.....
Unique Rover 3500 P6 total rebuilt by RR CLASSIC. Rover 3.9ltr engine with Edelbrock/Weber. Original (new old stock) Abarth exhaust especially made for Rover 3500V8 with stunning sound. LT77 5-speed.....
This car was a barn find about 12 years ago which was the last time it was driven. The condition is very honest but a total rebuild would make it a concours winner.
History unknown but is an Australian.....
