This is one of just 101 Aston Martin V8 Coupe’s ever built. This fantastic, highly detailed and pristine example has covered just 35400 miles supported by an exceptional service history. This totally correct, beautifully presented example comes with all its original service books and manuals, spare set of keys, pristine and fully complete valuable tool kit, all previous owner details, MOT's back to when the car was four years old and an impressive file of invoices for maintenance and upkeep. Invoices with the car total to a staggering £52,000 for service and maintenance work so it's no surprise the car has arrived with us in outstanding condition. There is no doubt this Aston V8 has been maintained with absolutely no expense spared over 23 years and 35,400 miles. Whilst it has been regularly serviced, previous owners have spent considerable sums on any recommended work and this is all documented in the very impressive history file.
As expected, the car has arrived in exceptional condition and is a true collector's piece. In this condition, the car is ready for any collection as it is presents beautifully. The bodywork is pristine, the paintwork first class with a glass finish, wheels are immaculate, the interior quite simply beautiful and the engine bay is detailed and could win a show. The underside of the car has been detailed, the previous owner is an Aston Martin collector and enthusiast and has enjoyed spending winter months preparing and detailing the car cosmetically. On the road the car is faultless with outstanding performance, handling and comfort. This is a special car and it drives as we would expect when brand new. Everything about this car is just first class, it is a car for the discerning buyer and its very fastidious previous owner has polished and detailed every inch of the car taking it to a wonderful level.
These Newport Pagnell-built V8s are arguably among the last truly hand built Aston Martins models and are becoming increasingly collectable. Built on the same chassis as the Vantage V550 and V600 models, they are equipped with the normally aspirated 5.3 litre Aston Martin V8 engine of 350 bhp. Fitted with 4 speed automatic transmission, the V8 Coupe's power output remains enough to propel the car to over 155 mph and cover 0-60 mph, in under 6.0 seconds. With the V550 and V600 now commanding between £200,000-£275,000, these rare cars look exceptional value.
