A friend in the restoration business has asked me to advertise the car on his behalf - he has just finished restoring the car and is moving on to another project.

The car has just been through a restoration, comes with 12 months MOT, but is of course tax and MOT exempt due to its age. These cars are a fantastic investment, with prices rising all of the time.

The recent major overhaul consisted of:

• Full professional respray in Flamenco
• Chrome bumper conversion
• Electronic ignition fitted
• Front and rear brakes fully rebuilt
• Major service, along with new water pump, thermostat
• New carpets
• New seat covers
• 4 new tyres
• Underside protected with underseal – no structural issues to speak of.
• …and much more!

The car is fitted with Chrome Rostyle wheels, which were an expensive and rare factory option. An alloy bonnet has also been fitted.
The car starts, runs and drives well. The car ticks over smoothly, and pulls well. There are no overheating issues and oil pressure is just where it should be. The overdrive is fully functional and makes cruising a pleasure. The brakes grab nicely and the car pulls up in a straight line, and the car rides well (for an MGB!).

The interior is very clean and tidy, also. As I mentioned, it’s had new seat covers, carpets etc fitted, and the dash is in good condition. A sliding Webasto-type sunroof is fitted.
Obviously at this price it’s not a concourse show car but it’s a very clean and tidy car that is ready to use and enjoy.
