I've decided to sell my cherished 1987 Cavalier Convertible 1.8i. I've had the car 26 years but in the last 15 years have not used it very much at all. It's time for someone else to have some fun with it. Its one of the last cars you can tinker with and not use a laptop, just good old spanners! :)
The MOT was 1 May, it has recorded 108,000 miles and in last few years has had new roof, clutch, cyl-head rebuild, 4 new tyres (for MOT). The alloys were on it when I bought it, similar to CD alloys but 6inch rims. No P.A.S so you need some muscles but also the bulkhead is solid, as is the rest of the metalwork. It was extensivley restored in 2003. Its not 100% perfect but it is exceptionally solid and honest, no hidden horrors.
I'm looking for £4,500 which is pretty well what I paid for it 26 years ago, (I still have the newspaper ad where I bought it).
