A very rare find. MG Metro Turbo Mk1 registered within the first 3 months of Metro Turbo production starting.
This Metro has been standing for many years and it has suffered as a result. But it is complete and features some very 1980s aftermarket extras such as electric windows, dead-locks, centre console, extra dash gauges and period sound system.
Originally Arum White and resprayed at some stage in Pageant blue.
96000 miles showing with original service book stamped to 36000 miles.
I haven't attempted to start the car since I bought it.
I have also removed the interior so as prospective purchasers can see the extent of the rust in the front footwells, rear floor and sills. Passenger door and tailgate also rusty.
My plan was to renovate the Metro and return it back to its original spec as Arum White Mk1 Turbos are very rare. But I just don't have the time so I have decided to move it on.
V5 present in my name plus full set of keys. The car is presently SORNed.
Collection from Northwich. You will need a trailer as the car isn't drivable.
I also have a much sounder Austin Metro Mk1 rolling shell from 1983 available by separate negotiation which could be used as a useful source parts for the Turbo restoration.
