Great example of an Austin 1300, this car comes with a good folder of history featuring original Leycare service sheets up-to 1979, original service documents up until 34000 miles, original hand book and sales brochures. The car has been owned by various enthusiasts for this model and also comes with many invoices for mechanical parts. One document states the engine has received an overhaul by replacing piston rings, bearings and clutch less than 4000 miles, along with full brake service.
The interior is in great condition, dash facia and gauges are like new. The seats are in very good condition with only a small bit of wear showing to drivers seat and arm rest. Carpets have been replaced recently.
This 1300 drives well and has benefitted from the recent overhaul, the car keeps up with modern day traffic no problem and could be used daily. Gear change is also good and brakes well. 4 tyres are brand new with little tread wear.
Mileage shows 59000 and there are old documents, a magazine feature stating mileage as well, that could potentially back this up as being genuine along with old mots etc, but cannot guarantee unfortunately.
Bright work and chrome in reasonable condition with some pitting marks but nothing too bad. Bodywork is great and this car really suits the Harvest Gold colour of the era.
What a superb Austin 1300. Very Rare in this condition. Spent most of its life in Portugal. Fantastic yellow colour combined with Britisch green striping. Original Minilite alloys with brand new tyres......
Superb cute and these days rare Austin 1300 Glider from 1973. This is an original Dutch car. The last owner had the car since 1986. It has only three owners in total! The car had fresh MOT until July.....
