MGB Roadster,1966. Very nice early mk1 in Old English White with Black leather interior with white piping.
This early example has only had 3 owners from new and the mileage shown of 75000 from new is correct and supported with large history file, giving details of restoration ,mots and regular maintenance. This is a really honest nice driving MG with has been properly waxoiled in the panels etc regularly .Recent engine and gearbox rebuild. Thus providing very smooth and trouble free motoring. There is a full stainless exhaust and boot mounted isolator switch. The engine bay is super clean and detailed and free from any leaks etc.
The bodywork is excellent due to a major restoration which is documented and photographed and its continual high level of maintenance and very little fair weather use. Previous owners were all MGOC members.
The chrome is very good and of good quality. The hood and frame are again excellent and there is a full tonneau cover with centre zip.
Boot space is extremely clean with no issues and it houses a wire spare wheel and original jack etc.in their correct holders.
Under the bonnet is also detailed showing the attention to detail and testament to the previous owners upkeep.
The paintwork in OEW is very good with no rust issues, there are just a couple of age related marks that have been touched in subsequent to its full restoration again to keep on top of it .
The original painted wire wheels which were an option are all excellent and are shod with all matching radials which haven’t seen much use.
The interior is very good with no problems. The original leather seats with their Cream piping and the original 3 spoke banjo steering wheel are nice to see. There is a period radio fitted which works and sound comes through the original centre speaker.
This is a really good value for money early honest Roadster that will without doubt give many, many more years of enjoyment for its 4th owner.
