Stripped to the last nut and bolt in 2011 and off the road for nearly three years during the rebuild, this is in superb condition.
Every part, bar the shocks absorbers and gearbox has been renewed, refurbished or rebuilt. Updates and modernisation include a complete rewire with a new wiring loom and all new lights. New front disc brakes and servo, two-speed wipers matched to heated rear and front screens as well as all new brightwork. Engine modifications include, a complete engine rebuild with a heated inlet manifold, large carburettors, an un leaded cylinder head and all new rockers and valves culminating in an MG midget differential alongside a three branch, stainless steel exhaust. The bodywork benefits from all new heritage wings, new chassis cross members, a complete new front chassis and new inner wings and engine floor plates along with alloy wheels with premium rubber and new road springs in each corner. It also has a complete new braking system.
The interior is also new including seats, carpets and headlining. Paperwork included shows a full photographic record of the rebuild detailing restoration costs exceeding £15000 and a certificate of origin from British Motor Industry Heritage Trust.
