Up for sale I have a very rare late model 1985 Mercedes Phase One W126 500 SEL, which has only covered a recorded 64k miles since the date of first registration and is in fantastic condition.
The paintwork is in good condition, all of the panels, doors etc are completely factory straight, as t are all shut lines, bumpers, lights etc. The tidiness of this car can be seen in the wheel arches, which are solid and incredibly clean.
This car has benefitted from restoration under the parcel shelf, correcting rust underneath, which is extremely common on these cars.
Critically, all of the chrome work is again pristine condition. All four wheels have the original phase one period feature wheel trims, which are in as new condition, and really set this vehicle apart from others on the market.
The black leather interior is in great condition, with the original becker radio still in place, as well as the rear footrests.
The 5.0 V8 engine runs perfectly, and has been well maintained throughout its life.
I am the 5th keeper on the logbook, and the car has an MOT until april 2020.
The car has its service book present and stamped up until 63381 miles.
The original spare tyre for the car will also be included with the vehicle as a unique piece of history.
This tyre has been removed from the spare wheel and I have had the wheel refurbished back to factory spec.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions or to arrange viewing.
This car has been entrusted to Investor Classics to restore to former glory. The car belonged to a prominent family and the partner of the previous owner wished for it to be restored to near new levels.....
