This car is an impressive Mercedes Benz 280SL with only two previous owners from new (kept in one family).
I have owned the car for four years and in this time it has only covered 4,000 miles. The car has wanted nothing, passing all MOTs with no advisories.
The car has benefited from regular services and routine maintenance works including new alternator belt, plugs and HT leads at 95,000 miles; new filters and brake hoses at 94,000; exhaust gasket at 93,500 since I have owned the car.
Over my ownership and throughout its lifetime the car is has been dry stored and carefully maintained.
The car comes with 3 keys, a folder of service stamps, maintenance invoices, and MOTs dating back to 1987, with a running timeline of all works carried out totalling over £7,000.
Arguably the most iconic colour including matching hub caps which is complemented with full black leather interior. The interior has been well maintained and the carpets are like new. The car also includes the original medical box and fire extinguisher!
The car would make the perfect first classic car or an excellent addition to a collection, with the 280sl increasing in popularity and it being one of the most affordable and reliable classics on the market. This car is now Tax Exempt so the annual running costs are extremely low. The car is a real head turner and always receives a lot of attention.
