Amazingly rare and exceptionnal Glas 2600 V8 Coupé, a German pretige Coupe built by Pietro Frua in Italy (nicknamed "Glaserati" because of similarities in design with period Maseratis like the Quattroporte or Sebring). One of only approx. 300 built with about only 80 known to still exist as Glas (later produced with BMW badge), V8 2600 cc engine, torquey with superb noise, manual gearbox, strikingly beautiful interior, dashboard full of instruments, chrome, big wooden steering wheel, leather an so on. A very comfortable cabin full of space and light, very welcoming. Swiss car from new with just 2 owners from new, has always been in Geneva. Fully restored (bare metal bodywork), machanically fully rebuilt engine, heads, valves, timing, carbs, auxiliaries, clutch, drive train, exhaust, suspensions, chassis, brakes, documented and magazine featured. This Glas 1300 GT, sold new in Sweden 9th of April 1965, has most likely travelled only 90.000 km. I don’t have documentation to support that, but there is an indication the car has not been used.....

The Glas 1004 is a small two-door, four-seater automobile produced by Hans Glas GmbH at Dingolfing. It was first exhibited in public, in coupé form, at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1961......
