1998 Honda Integra Type-R Superbly maintained For Sale

1998 Honda Integra Type-R #1970 102,200 miles, I have owned since 2015 This car has one of the most comprehensive service histories that I have seen with a vehicle. FULL Honda main dealer service history since new, I bought a second service book from Honda for the services that I have completed since owning. There are many, many receipts, including £1,400 for a gearbox rebuild, new clutch, the list goes on. The receipts pile is an inch thick. Comes with red key, AND red fob programmer, both still sealed. Does not burn a drop of oil, including on track. Very strong engine, that I taken care of. In my ownership I have replaced with all genuine Honda parts unless otherwise stated. I have only replaced with non-genuine, when those parts have been discontinued, and are no longer available: Red H badges All external stickers Rear bumper support bar - no saggy, ill-fitting rear bumper Complete suspension front to back, all bushes/arms replaced with genuine Honda, for a small fortune Bilstein Shocks with H&R springs Rear brakes calipers Bolster foam to both seats Windscreen, all trims and seals - £600 alone Pedal rubbers Water pump Timing belt & tensioner Koyorad radiator Air con condenser & new seals All engine bay bracketry removed, grit blasted and repainted All new engine bay hardware, rubber mounts for the airbox, screws, fixings, bolts, some of the engine back brackets have also been replaced with new, again all genuine Honda Spoon radiator hoses Spoon radiator cap Spoon 4-2 manifold section, mated to '96 spec JDM 2-1 - original manifold & catalytic converter comes with the car JDM catalytic converter Fujitsubo RM-01A exhaust - this I replaced simply for performance and noise reasons Spoon steering wheel hub - no SRS warning light Momo steering wheel NSX-R horn button - again, Genuine Honda, £180 item. - car comes with the original steering wheel, but for driving pleasure and track use, I wanted the nicer wheel New battery I also removed as much of the wiring harness for the engine back as I could whilst I was conducting a front-end rust removal process, I replaced all the tape, and reinstalled it with all new clips. I have extensive photographs of me removing a lot of items on the car, cleaning, refurbishing and then reinstalling. As mentioned before, everything was stripped off the front of the car, I ground down and removed rust and then repainted it. Headlights were removed and re-polished. The bodywork is the only "weak" part of this car. As far as I am aware, the rear arches have never been done. There is no current evidence of any rust to the exterior, but this is a 90s Honda... there is probably something hidden, full disclosure. There are also a couple of marks to the exterior that I would want to point out. If I was to keep the car, I would probably get all this done, but as it was a track car, I knew if I got all the bodywork sorted, I would then immediately put it into some gravel. The car was used as my Sunday, weekend & general track car. Car has performed faultlessly, and I will be sad to see it go, but I hardly use the car (450miles between last MOTs), and a young family means I just don't have the time to enjoy it. It has spent all of it's life with me, in my garage with a battery maintainer connected. I have never used in the winter, rarely in the rain, and it has always been treated lovingly. I used to run the car with a Sabelt GT-140 titan drivers seat fitted, and I have a spare set of newly refurbished OZ Superturismo wheels with brand new Advan A050 track special tyres, that can possibly be negotiated in to the deal.
