Circumstances have unfortunately made me decide to sell this wonderful ,rare old car. Full of character and clearly by it's shape a 1950's classic. It is Tax & MOT exempt. The car had a complete restoration in the early 1990’s which was featured in a Practical Classics article in issue August 1998. It is showing a nice patina, but could now benefit from a little TLC. It has a later Hunter central gear change rather than the original column change. It was fitted with 4 new tyres, had new wheel cylinders & flexible brake hoses all round together with a new master cylinder prior to me buying the car from the previous owner( owned by him for 16 years) and he stated " so brakes are now as good as they get." The following description is his from his advert "It has also just had a complete new clutch assembly & release bearing. The chassis is rock solid and bodywork generally good, but now some small areas of rust are showing which need some attention, especially along the door bottoms. Front bench seat has some splits/rips that had been repaired, but I preferred to keep it original rather than have a new cover fitted. Starts & runs well and is used regularly." A few boxes of spares are also available with the car and original buff log book, previous owner history and workshop manual etc. etc Price is £4,950 o.n.o., Viewing is recommended.
