this absolutely immaculate & iconic, rare phase 1 -
1986 Peugeot 205 GTi For Sale
Presented in the stunning colour of Alpine White with a sumptuous superb original interior, this stunning 80's hot hatch is definitely one for the collector and is not to be missed. This truly beautiful HPI clear, stunning classic really is in a superb condition inside and out for its age and has a comprehensive history file as per picture 2 and is in a true time-warp condition.
She has covered only 39,900 genuine miles with lots of invoices & MOT's etc to support this genuine mileage and condition, and would be a superb addition for any car collector or as part of a museum collection due to this overwhelming condition.
After being first registered in 1986, the car was owned by a Foster Benson until 1990, where it was then purchased by a Mrs Carmel Hurst who owned it for the next 21 years of its life. After this, it was lovingly adored for by a David Tasker who then sold it to a Davis Snell before it was bought by its current owner, who is a very good friend of cmsporsche.co.uk and a major car enthusiast, who has kept it as part of his private ever growing car collection for the remainder of its life and who is reluctantly only selling her due to his lack of space.
It is obvious, due to its amazing unmolested original condition, that this car has been kept garaged and dry stored for the majority of its life. Having belonged to a good friend, we can assure that the vehicle has been kept in a heated garage as part of a private collection and was saved for only the highest and driest of days. As expected she has never been welded in her life and the original 14" Pepper Pot Alloys have just been professionally refurbished and have recently been treated to replacement Michelin Tyres.
As mentioned the interior is absolutely immaculate for its age and looks stunning. It still houses its original "Biarritz" seats which are in a superb condition (as per the photos) and she has also recently benefited from a new Gear Knob (with the original insert). The factory sunroof is in a great condition and the vacuum seals are working exactly as it should.
Some of the more recent work within the past few thousand miles that has been completed to keep her in this top, time-warp condition, includes: A Cambelt replacement with a new Water Pump, a Major Service with an Oil & Filter, Spark Plugs and Ignition Spark Leads, a new Battery, a New Radiator and replacement & refreshment of the Gear Linkages.
She comes complete with her original handbooks & service book, a long MOT until May 2020, multiple keys and a fresh Experian HPI certificate showing her to be clear.
She really is a superb car, and is perfect for any classic car collector or 80's Hot Hatch Collector and we feel she is great value at this price especially with this mileage and in this condition and not only will she provide you a huge amount of fun but also the possibility the opportunity of a great potential future investment!
This is one of the lowest miles and fewest owners out there.
This car has 1 former keeper who owned this for 1 year and then the car was sold to a lady owner who has had it for the rest of its time.....
Red with grey and red cloth 39000 miles. This is my own car. I was first attracted to these cars when I first started trading back in the late eighties, I drove one from Oxford to Marshalls Garage.....
