This beautiful Rolls Royce Convertible has covered just 76,000 miles from new and comes with a file of invoices totaling towards £50,000 of service and maintenance work, mainly carried out by Rolls Royce Bentley dealership Broughtons of Cheltenham. This stunning example, chassis number DRH9757 was supplied new in Masons Black with Black hide with Grey carpets and Grey hood headlining. The car was sold new by Jack Barclay Ltd and ordered new with fog lamps, plain Sundym Glass, flasher/repeater lamps fitted at Crewe and a Philips Cassette Tape player to be fitted to the centre console by HJM MPW. The Rolls Royce was ordered new by Peter Rogers at Feature Film Facilities, Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Peter Rogers became a British institution, the highly successful producer of more than 30 Carry on Films and it was reported by ‘The Telegraph’ that he left a legacy that is unrivalled and his contribution to British cinema is long and illustrious. The BBC quote his life’s work was rewarded at the British Comedy Awards in 1990 and by the London Critic’s Circle six years later. He was married to another British film producer, Betty Box.

The Rolls Royce spent its early life with the ‘famous' film producer and was later owned by the proprietor of a Company called Inter European Properties Ltd, registered to a Mews address in London NW1. The Rolls Royce was later sold in 1979 with a mileage of 62000 to the Director of Company called Page & Davies Ltd in Gloucestershire and the car then spent over 30 years with the one owner who has spent almost £50,000 on maintenance and upkeep. In 1979 at 63053 miles Lex Mead Maidenhead carried out a 3000 mile service on behalf of the long term owner and from 1980 onwards the Rolls Royce was maintained by Rolls Royce Bentley main agents Broughton of Cheltenham. From 1979 the Rolls Royce has covered just 13000 miles but has been maintained with absolute no expense spared hence the comprehensive file of receipts for almost £50,000. All invoices are present detailing all servicing and maintenance over the 33 year period.

VFH 110 represents a wonderful opportunity and is a very rare motor car with great provenance. The car is today presented in its original colour of Mason Black and still retains its original upholstery. The hood is original and correct, and has recently been treated to a new rear window. The bodywork is superb with beautiful straight panels, an excellent underside and a beautiful paint finish complimented by gleaming chrome work. The Rolls Royce has a nicely aged upholstery and well-presented boot and engine bay. The car drives beautifully as expected with such an impressive service record and did spend from 2013 to 2017 unused. In 2018 the Rolls Royce was MOT tested and given an oil change and has covered minimal mileage since. We can confirm the MPW is truly outstanding on the road and has a strong, powerful 6745cc V8 engine holding impressive oil pressure, the gearbox changes beautifully and the car drives with sophistication and a smooth, high quality, luxury feel with working power hood. The Rolls Royce comes with Rolls Royce archive factory records, copy of original bill of sale, handbook, various MOT's and the superbly well documented service invoices.
