1978 MGB Roadster - Rust free, Oselli engine For Sale
Excellent MGB roadster in pageant blue. Completely rust free body.
MOT and tax exempt.
I bought this as one of a collection of 4 MGB roadsters being sold by an older gentleman. I was only after one really, however he would only sell them all together. That took me to 6 in total. I quite like MGBs....
Oselli 1950cc engine. Performance cylinder head, performance cam, high flow oil pump, tuftride crankshaft, lightened and balanced flywheel, performance manifold and full stainless exhaust system. Twin K&N filters with MGB front plate. Electronic ignition and thermostatically controlled electric fan. Oselli quote up to 40% increase in power.
The engine has good oil pressure, revs freely and sounds great. The performance is excellent and significantly beyond that of a standard 4 cylinder car.
Sebring front and rear valances. These have been professionally blended into the body, rather than the usual bolt on conversion.
Period Lucas chrome spotlights. Mk1 chrome grille and mk1 rear lights.
New quality hood. It appears black but is actually dark blue.
Genuine Minator wheels. Just powder coated in smoke chrome and unmarked. All new Uniroyal tyres.
Lovely walnut dash with all working dials. Completely rebuilt seats and new quality carpets. Lovely black leather steering wheel.
New brake calipers, discs, pads, master cylinder and servo. New clutch cylinder.
Galvanised fuel tank.
I also have a lovely wooden steering wheel which I would be happy to swap over if this was preferable.
