Excellent, useable pre-war sports car. The model has impressive competition history in trials and racing, including Le Mans. With it's 972cc overhead cam, twin carburetor engine and 4 speed gearbox, it performs well and sounds great. Aluminium body. The car underwent a complete chassis up restoration by Singer 9 Guru and trialing exponent Ian Blackburn in 2006 to trials/touring specification, including lightweight panels, air pump, twin coils, inspection lamp etc. (all correspondence and invoices of this process are on file). Car is absolutely sound in all respects and has an attractive 'used' patina. I had the engine fully rebuilt and balanced by South Cerney Engineering c.900 mile ago. The engine has a Phoenix billet crankshaft. There is a fully fitted duck cloth tonneau cover. A current VSCC Buff form renders it eligible for official competition. Documented provenance. Masses of relevant historic and current paperwork including manuals and currently available parts catalogue. Memorabilia including blueprint drawings, lubrication chart, greetings card, postage stamp (of the actual model!). Used regularly for trips, VSCC trials, rallies, weddings and other special events. Spares include 4 additional wheels and tyres, aluminium front wings, hubs, half shafts, differential etc. An 'Agreed value' comprehensive insurance is currently in place to the value of £20,000. For information and/or more pictures contact seller. Car is near Fairford/Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
