1970 TVR TUSCAN V8 For Sale
This Tuscan is based on a Vixen S3 and with lots of effort put in every detail. This has car has been restored/build in the US and all original papers are at hand. Current owner spend considerable time and effort to make the car drivable and reliable. The original 289 engine and the Top Loader gearbox are correct. The engine runs like a charm with a 351 cam and has a surplus of power. The engine bay is a piece of art.
The body has been widened to accommodate a Corvette C2 diff, shafts and suspension because standard shafts and diff cannot handle the power. The driving caracteristiques are very good and on a race track the car is well balanced. The rear end is good looking and attracks lots of attention. The Compomotive rims are time correct, have car specific ET values and of course great looks.
The chassis is completely redone and powder coated. All wiring is renewed and is connected through a reliable fusebox.
The interior is absolutely in TOP condition. The paint is Gun Metal gray and in good condition.
The sound of the car is impressive but decent. This is definitively a one off TVR !!

The car has an original 289 engine that has been bored 0.30 over, with balanced forged pistons and has a 10:1 compression.
Please note that the Cam is a 351 cam in a 289 for a smoother engine Ported and polished heads with 2.02" intake and 1,60" exhaust valves. Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold.

Custom build aluminum fuel cell with ~65 liters volume.
Custom billet aluminum front hubs with Triumph GT-6 vertical links and stub axels. Cross-drilled and slotted rotors.
Close ratio rack and pinion steering.
Alden Eagle aluminum coil-over's with 350# springs.
Custom deep bucket crimson red perforated leather seats with side bolsters.
Moto-Lita leather covered steering wheel, as originally equipped.
