Bodywork in good condition, all panels in good condition with only light scratches as to be expected with age – a good cut and polish would remove most. There is some very light bubbling on both front wings by the bumper – not rotten and would be easily rectified as a local rust treatment and re paint prior to any corrosion setting in.
Interior is in good condition with only a rip to the driver’s seat bolster, a good valet would make it look nearly new. No cracks to the wooden dash, all windows work, Blaupunkt CD Player fitted
The underside is very solid as to be expected with a Mercedes of this age – no previous repairs or patches.
The hydraulic suspension has had the pipes replaced
Engine runs very well – has had a head gasket change in the past, serviced well, no smoking or untoward noises. Pulls very well being the rarer 6 cylinder petrol
Gearbox is smooth and quiet
The car drives very well, no squeaks, bangs or rattles. New discs and pads in last 12 months
12 Months MOT – just had 2 brake pipes and a new battery
Good tyres all round
Ready to be used, small jobs would improve the car while usable. Soon to be a classic car and values are steadily rising.
