Beat the impending Brexit taxation in the UK by buying now:
Matching number vehicle built in late 1953 for the US market, engine capacity 1250 cc, 55 hp, odometer reading 7,800 miles, black with red interior. Owner since 2010. Valves, ignition and carburetor lately adjusted. Smooth synchromesh gear changes.
The vehicle was imported by a trader from Texas into the UK in 2010. Two documents of previous US owners exist in copy. The latest US owner conducted an engine overhaul in 2007. In April 2010 the car was imported into Germany, examined and then certified by the relevant German MOT equivalent as an historic car. This "H" number plate status qualifies in Germany for a fixed road tax regardless of engine capacity and allows access into cities with low-emission zones.
With reference to relevant literature sources the vehicle was lovingly brought into de-tailed original state. The car’s electric system was checked and where necessary re-placed. The speedometer and tachometer have been reconditioned and calibrated by a specialist. The complete brake system including master cylinder, wheel brake cylinders, brake shoes and drums have been replaced in 2017/2018. In 2018 new be-spoke wooden floorboards and carpets were fitted.
Included with the car is an original tool roll with a set of tools and a contemporary jack.
