Lamborghini presented the Diablo SE 30 to the 30th anniversary of the company in the November 1993 and wanted to close the gap to Ferrari's F40.

The timeless Italian design of the Lamborghini Diablo SE30 was created by Marcello Gandini, chief designer of Bertone. Gandini had already drawn the V12 predecessors and the icons Miura and Countach for Lamborghini. With the engine cover of the SE30, which extends the roofline, Gandini is also strongly oriented towards the Miura. The Diablo also was his last design for Lamborghini.

Designed as a limited-production model, the SE30 is in essence a street-legal race vehicle that is lighter and more powerful than the standard Diablo. With a dry weight of 1449 kg (weight reduction of approx. 150 kg compared to the standard model) and 525 hp (+33 hp), the performance (0-100 km/h under 4s / top speed 334 km/h) for that time was downright phenomenal.

The Lamborghini Diablo SE30 was the fastest production vehicle in the world, at the time it was produced.

Of the 150 SE30s produced, 28 were tuned to "Jota" versions. In addition, more than ten SE30 were verifiably involved in an accident. Accordingly there should be hardly 100 Lamborghini Diablo SE 30 left. Only very few in the original condition with low mileage.

Although equipped with the identical V-12 engine as found in the Diablo VT, the SE30 is mechanically superior to its counterpart; the SE 30 has a tuned fuel system, magnesium intake manifolds, and a free-flowing exhaust which boosts power output to an astounding 525 brake horsepower and a top speed of over 321 kmh.

The car with the chassis number 12036 was ordered by the first owner, Gert Sabrowski through Walter Wolf Autohandel GmbH in Düsseldorf, Germany. The car was delivered in 1995 and registered in 1996.

Complete with books and tools, this beautiful SE30 currently has only 432 kilometres on its odometer. Furthermore, the car retains its original tools and owner’s manual, as well as the Acceptance certificate of the delivery. There is probably no better Diablo SE30 with a comparable mileage on the market right now.
