I bought this 2 years ago and rode about 500 miles over a 3 month period.
It went surprisingly well !
After the last ride I washed it down and rode it a couple of miles to dry before
putting in the garage.
I was then very busy for several months and didn't touch it.
When I came back to it I thought the battery was totally dead so I tried a jump lead, but still
I did a continuity test on the ignition switch and it seems ok.
There is no battery now.
I have not checked anything else !
Instead I have decided to give it a good clean up and have a clear out.
Everything in the first picture is included.
Genuine BMW S type fairing with fittings.
Almost complete RS type fairing.
Clock & voltmeter.
Period panniers & frames.
MOT ran out March last year & is currently SORN.
If you are serious about buying a non runner I'm sure you have an understanding of what the problem
is likely to be, right now I don't know and don't have the time to investigate but we both know these bikes
are not complicated.
Both the tyres are recent & most of the nuts & bolts including wheel spindles are stainless.
Full stainless exhaust system & the brake discs have been replaced.
New sure foot side stand.
It appears to have been well maintained.
Despite the electrical fault its a good bike !
