1963 Jaguar Mk10 manual 5 speed Silver one previous own For Sale
I have owned this 3.8 litre car since 2010 when I purchased it from the original and only owner but with other cars in the stable I am only using it for a few hundred miles a year and feel now is the time for someone else to experience this flagship classic Jaguar.
The widest production car of its time I affectionately know it as 'Titch' after my late father.
With a Hagerty price guide of £14300 and regtransfers valuing the reg number at £2000 I think I am selling this at a very reasonable price.
Since buying the car I have improved it with new leather front seat covers sourced via SNG. Full set of new carpets, new headlining, new boot interior and front and rear screen seals. I also purchased its current tyres which have lots of tread bearing in mind the low usage.
The car has an MOT until Sept 20. When I purchased it it was fitted with its current 5 speed Getrag manual gearbox, the original would have been 4 speed with overdrive.
The car is in general good condition inside and out. The rear seat is very supple in its original blue leather and beautiful picnic tables with vanity mirrors however the wood on the dashboard headrail and drivers door capping does need some attention. The paint and bodywork is good though there is a little blistering on some door bottoms. The underneath and sills are solid. This is a car that drives really nicely with the independent rear suspension soaking up all the bumps.
