Excellent gearbox with smooth gearchange through all gears, easily selectable. No engine whines or clicky driveshafts. Clutch is good and engages easily.
Engine holds temperature well and no overheating or leaks.
Fresh full cambelt service at Autolusso Bournemouth including fitment of Q2 limited slip differential at a cost of £2400, March '20.
Replaced correct 3.2 ECU June '20.
Chassis stiffening, including front upper strut brace and longitudinal braces between front struts and bulkhead (reducing any scuttle shake).
Recent new standard brake discs & pads at front & rear.
New solid brake pipes throughout.
Very good calipers in red as per original spec.
Recent Suspension overhaul including new v6 spec standard springs at front & rear.
New OEM spring pans (with polybushed inners bearings) – new parts fitted, not refurb or reproductions (£500 for the pair, if you can find them – I did!).
Refurbished rear bumpstops & dogleg arms with new Polybushed bearings.
New front & rear droplinks.
Stainless steel custom exhaust system from cat back, including a pair of sports cats fitted in place of the original, just behind the downpipes. Single large chrome exhaust outlet that fits exactly as per standard. This system matches the design of the Alfaholics system available (at £1650!).
Sound of exhausts on the Busso engine are subjective – this one sounds very nice and is not noticeably louder than the OEM system. Perfect with the roof down!
Freshly professionally refurbished Silver OEM spec Speedline Enzo 17x7.5j alloys in perfect condition. Matching pairs of Dunlop SportMaxx RT tyres front & rear with excellent condition and tread – approx. 6mm all round. New Alfa shield wheel centres.
It drives wonderfully and turns head wherever it goes.
All Alfa 916 Spiders are rising in value and the very rare 3.2 V6 that is the one to have.
