For sale is my 1991 Alpine White Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6, this car has only used during summer months. Mot july 2020. family owned for past 5 years. This is quite a tidy example which has had extensive maintenance carried out which includes, refurbished rear axle, new front springs and rear shocks, welding carried out in the engine bay and boot floor, the front panel, front lights, indicators, spot lights and front bumper were replaced during it's first year with me. The timing belt, water pump and tensioner were replaced in 2016 with genuine parts, oil change carried out in 2018. The tyres were replaced last year so tread is very good.
The car has an unusual manual choke system which allows for a smooth idle which is adjusted by the driver - I've never seen this setup before but it works well and we never considered changing it. The interior is in good condition and is the half leather option from the 1.9 model, the sunroof looks to be the dealer fit option rather than the factory option, we have never opened it and it's never leaked in my ownership.
The electrics all seem to be working as they should, including the lights on buzzer, heater and reverse light which commonly aren't working by this point in a 205's life.
Some documentation and receipts with the car as well as the V5 in my name. Please ring for any more information that I may have missed.
This is one of the lowest miles and fewest owners out there.
This car has 1 former keeper who owned this for 1 year and then the car was sold to a lady owner who has had it for the rest of its time.....
Red with grey and red cloth 39000 miles. This is my own car. I was first attracted to these cars when I first started trading back in the late eighties, I drove one from Oxford to Marshalls Garage.....
