The Lancia was delivered to Switzerland in 1960 and remained there until 1967.
After two years in Ireland the Lancia came to England, where it was finally purchased in 1986 by a Mr Newnum who restored it from the ground up and over three years until 1991. The history of the restoration is the subject of an article in the magazine Classic & Sprtscar, June 1993 issue.
I myself was able to purchase the Lancia from Mr Newmun in 1996, so it has been in my possession for 23 years.
The quality of the restoration at that time is shown in particular by the current condition of the vehicle, which was constantly maintained and serviced, but on which it was never necessary to work on the substance. In particular the paintwork could remain "untouched" since the restoration 28 years ago and is witness not only to the high quality of the beautiful aluminium body but much more to the vehicle as a whole.
I am selling her because of a new "pre-war-adventure".
The price is Euro 78.000,00, so the price in GBP is just indicative.
Very rare Lancia Flaminia GT Touring 2.8 3 carbs, one of the 168 models built between 1963 and 1968.
Extraordinary unmolested conditions, always wonderfully taken care and maintained.
