Reluctantly due to family health issues our treasured P5 Coupe' has to be sold. It is just not used now as priorities have changed. After many years of painstaking work on the body, paintwork and interior leather and carpets; all have been renovated to a very high standard and fully Waxoiled. It is fitted with the new BCC rear springs made to OEM standards and new rear shock absorbers, the ride and ride height is just as the P5'S were when new, if not Improved. Full length S/S exhaust gives that sporty but restricted sound. New Front brake disks and pads. Well maintained and reliable, it is ready to go. The speedo was replaced with a new one five years ago at approx. 79000. This year's first outing was the new year day run out of Sturminster Newton, Dorset, and last years Abbey Hill Steam Fair in Yeovil.
It is not fair on the car to sit in a garage under covers all its life!
Well known in P5 and RSR club circles, wining many awards, and featured several times in the P5 Club magazine Take Five, the car is a head turner wherever it goes!
Along with the car is a garage full of spares, including an engine with the Auto gear box transmission, and back axle a complete sub-frame from a Mk III Donor car. Loads of window, heater and other body parts including front and rear glass.
This is a one off sale of the car with all parts, some new, as a total package. I do not want to be left with odds and ends so it is all or nothing. I AM OPEN TO VERY NEAR REASONABLE OFFERS...
Although the badge bar is included as an OEM P5 part; the badges, mostly registered to me will not be included.
Grey with red leather, manual with overdrive. Supplied by Botwoods of Ipswich in 1963. Service history with original service book indicating the 34k recorded miles as being correct. Sympathetically.....
