Body - Mk1 Cortina 4 door shell . Very solid car as it was imported from South Africa some years back. Looks very original underneath only ever having had very minor repairs. In the main all original metal, original strut tops, sills, etc. Paintwork is nice with only a few minor marks here and there. New fibreglass bonnet fitted. Still has original steel wings.
Interior - New RS1600 style retro bucket seats with retrimmed rear seat. New dashtop, carpet and all 4 doorcards, Car has been fitted with a heated screen, also has a period looking modern DAB radio and electric aerial - very cool!!
Mechanics - Car has been lowered all round, 1600 crossflow which is very quiet with no smoke or rattles. Standard 4 speed box and rear axle. Alloy rad and alloy fuel tank, Front discs. . Starts no problem and has been regularly used for shows this summer.
Wheels - Wide Weller steels with chrome hubcaps and Yokohama 175 50 13 A539s
