According to the history file and a copy of the original factory build sheet, this Alvis was delivered from the factory to coach builders Cross and Ellis, to be fitted with an open four-seater tourer body from new. The original colour being black with black wheels and brown leather interior, with reference to Wadham Bros of Waterlooville.
We have copy registration documents going back to 1978 with a change of ownership in 1998 when the Alvis was subjected to a comprehensive specialist restoration involving chassis, body and engine rebuild. It is now finished in British Racing Green with green and black leather interior, and a black soft top and tonneau cover.
We have a copy of a 1933 ‘Autocar’ road test of the exact model, technical specification, recent maintenance and repair schedule and invoices.
The Alvis is currently road registered and is being advertised on behalf of the current registered owner.
