First registered in October 1965 as BHW 840C, the Traveller was subject to a full restoration by the Charles Ware
Minor Centre in 1996 with new woodwork and a heated rear window being fitted. On sale to its new owner in Jersey in 1996, it was described as being in first class order having been fully overhauled with a new wiring loom and alternator. Since being imported into Jersey in 1996 it has had one careful owner
The Traveller is in extremely good condition having covered only 1785 miles since 1996 having been maintained during this time. The Charles Ware Minor Centre is a leading restorer of Morris Minors and Travellers, it was therefore restored to exacting standards in 1996, and been kept garaged ever since. On purchase it came with a three year guarantee, and today the chassis and underside is in very good condition.
In very good condition, with good woodwork, due to being restored and with limited use, it has a very clean interior, with no tears or blemishes, with good matching red carpets
Having been restored, and having covered only 250 miles since the last service, we are confident that the Traveller is in very good mechanical condition, as it has had limited use, it is going through our workshops at present time to ensure that the next owner will continue to enjoy the reliability that this model is renowned for. A New Braking system has just been fitted , October 2019.
