1988 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6
I have owned the car for 6 years purchasing it early 2013 and covered 5000 miles in it. In this time the car has been garaged all year round.
The car has a brand new 12month MOT with no advisory’s.
Mechanical items that have been carried out in my ownership, this is not an exhaustive list just a sample of the larger items.
New clutch May 2013.
New radiator October 2013.
New standard exhaust system February 2014.
Engine inc cambelt/ water pump April 2014.
Rear axle was removed and refurbished April 2016.
New front discs and pads October 2018.
The cylinder head was removed and refurbished September 2018.
Replacement engine block was installed, new water pump and cambelt kit November 2018. (old engine included)
New heater matrix November 2018.
New front Blistein B4 shocks May 2019
I have the original air box and all ducting.
The bodywork on the car is all very original, while it is presentable, the car has covered 117,000 miles so I would describe the bodywork as average/good for its age and mileage.
The wheels are in good original condition as is all the plastic trim for its age, with some minor age related marks. The drivers door has been replaced at some point in its life.
The inside of the car is presentable with half leather seats fitted front and back. The seat bolsters are in fair condition, you have the usual wear and tear on the front seats.
The carpet has no tears or excessive wear. The vacuum sealing sunroof works.
I have the original book pack and service book showing early service history and a lot of the original MOT certificates. I have extensive works log and service history from the car being in my ownership.
I have an excel spread sheet detailing all the work undertaken in my ownership, most of the work has been carried out by professionals, backed up with receipts.
I have a few boxes of various spares collected over my ownership for the car, which will be included in the sale. This includes a complete engine in bits and the original airbox with ducting etc.
I have tried to be as honest with the car as I can. I feel the overall condition of the car is very presentable for its age and mileage, it has been driven and enjoyed and cherished in its life and time with me. Please do expect to see age related marks and the usual wear and tear throughout for a Peugeot that is 31 years old and covered 117,025 miles.
If you require any further information, photos or would like to view the car please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
