1988 Jaguar XJ-SC V12 For Sale

This Jaguar XJ-SC has been recently recommissioned after spending nearly a decade in storage as the previous owner had been suffering with ill health. We have had the injectors and fuel rail flow tested and rebuilt at a cost of nearly £700, ensuring that the car now runs correctly, and other works have been carried out. The general condition of the car is good, with nice deep paintwork that has only a few marks and one very small area of bubbling. The seats and door cards are in good condition and show relatively little wear compared to some. The inner roof lining could use replacing at some point in the future but is not a major issue. The wood trim around the gear selector has unfortunately cracked and deteriorated as so many of them have, but replacements are available online for any owner that wishes to smarten up the interior of their car. The steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket wheel, but if that is not to your taste the original steering wheel does also come with the car. The car is MOT'd until August 2020, and the history file contains all of the MOT documents up until 2006, and after that point the car was MOTd in 2007 and 2009, and then taken off of the road. The speedometer was changed at some point between 2007 and 2009 with a secondhand unit leading to the mileage discrepancy on the online MOTd checker, the odometer currently reads 79,190 miles but the true mileage will be closer to 113,000 miles, which is truly no mileage at all for one of these engines. The history file also contains plenty of old invoices stretching back through the car's lifetime and detailing many thousands spent on keeping this car in fine fettle throughout its life. If you're looking for a comfortable and stylish grand tourer, with effortless power and the ability to feel the wind in your hair, then you should definitely consider an XJ-SC. Walk around video:
