MGB Roadster Red, Chrome Bumper 1970 Overdrive For Sale

MGB Roadster Red, Chrome Bumper 1970 Overdrive FOR SALE I'm not your typical MGB owner. I'm 23 and bought this car after having wanted one since I was 14. I have driven this car as my daily for the past ~2 years and in that time its taken me to see friends down near London, regular 140 mile round weekend trips to Scarborough, to work and back everyday and even down to Classic Le Mans and back in 2018. After I bought the car there were a few slight things I had to put right; a warped oil sump, tuning of and a gasket for my carbs and a rocker top gasket. Beyond that it's just been all the simple things you can expect to change every now and then (points and condenser etc). This car has provided me with endless smiles and giddiness. When you've got the roof down and you go through town - in perhaps a lower gear than you should be (shh) - listening to the sports exhaust turning heads... you cannot help but help but smile and feel immensely proud. This is not a concourse car, if that's what you are looking for you'll need to increase your price filter, but what this is - is a car that I have been able to rely on everyday, runs very well, looks good and that you can be proud to call your own in front of your mates at the pub. After having spoken so fondly of my MGB I suppose you'll be wondering why I'm selling it. Well my work's starting to involve me leaving the office more and all the simple things that come with a modern car (cup holders, comfort, ease of motorway driving etc) just make it more of a sensible fit for me. If I could have both you wouldn't be reading this advert right now, but reality sucks...! I have a folder of history, more photos and am happy to answer any questions you may have so do get in touch for more information! Advert photos taken on my Pentax ME Super 35 mm film camera, because old school is just better!
