This immaculate series B Rapide was subject to a complete rebuild by a marque specialist in 2015 and UK road registered. Built in 1949 and bearing the HRD logos it was one of the last batch of bikes to be fitted with Brampton front forks but has also been upgraded to 12v electronics with a electric starter, tread down centre stand and Black Shadow clock.
Since the work was completed the bike has been only used for test milage and remains in absolutely fantastic condition, recorded as a matching number example the engine was rebuilt using new VOC supplied cases with mating case numbers P87.
A freshly rebuild superb example with the added benefit of an electric starter which with the 12v electrics makes the bike hassle free. Supplied with a UK V5c logbook.
This unique outfit has a VOC authenticated white shadow engine, one of only 17 built, and a history set out by VOC. It is very nicely restored and had a full engine rebuild by the owner before last.....
