1957 Sunbeam Supreme (Talbot Mk3) For Sale
The bodywork and chassis are in amazing shape for a vehicle of this age, and although the car is MOT, and tax free. It is regularly maintained by B Modern Classics in Newburn, Tyne and Wear.
Having said that, don't expect a concourse classic. As far as I am aware, the car has never been restored.
For those that want to know, before deciding to come and see for themselves:
The front seats definitely show 62 years of backsides!
There is a small dent in the chrome bumper. (hidden by GB sign.)
The rubber seals are useable but aged. (which I have replacements for)
The passenger door needs a good firm hand to shut it.
In the boot is a good amount of spare parts, that would cost a considerable amount to buy, but will go with the sale. These include:
Front Windscreen.
Manifold.
Cylinder head.
Fuel filter.
Seals and gaskets.
In my opinion, the car wears it's 62 years with elegance. What some call patina, others call faults. So I will leave that to the next owner to decide.
What you are getting is a beautiful, reliable, and usable classic car. That consistently surprises modern cars on the A1.
The 4 speed gearbox (with 3rd & 4th Overdrives) shifts without problems. The 2, 300cc engine will happily do the national speed limit. Proving its rally heritage.
I would welcome any inspection, and (if they haven't put salt on the roads), I will happily take someone out for a spin. As it gives me an excuse to drive the car!
Note: The mileage will increase a little. As soon as the sun is out, I am out in the car!
The price is non-negotiable, and is more than fair. So please don't come expecting to knock me down in price, as there is no urgency to sell.
If you wish to drive the car away.... Cash! Other payment methods must clear before release. Any questions? Please ask, and I will give you a honest answer.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!

The interior is nice, although the headlining will require some attention. Please also note the fuel gauge does not work. ...
