I’ll start with the bad bits, it needs all 4 arches attending to, I have injured my back so I can’t do anything else on it. I replaced the lollipops, droplinks and arb bushes and a brake hose for the MOT.
This was an avid BMW fans car (he had 3) but sadly he passed away before he could tackle the cosmetics.
Underneath is rock solid, nothing on the MOT regards corrosion. It’s had sills, jacking points etc as per these.
After the MOT I noticed it was running hot (I’ve done under 100 local miles, around 5-10 at a time) and the heater wasn’t working. I ordered a water pump and the tools to do it and now I’ve popped my back.
I’ve decided I need to stop messing about with cars as I always end up limping for a month or two afterwards so I’m advertising this as is.
You are welcome to use my tools to fit the pump and I can help with handing bits to you I just can’t bend.
Tidied up (blah blah usual gold dust unicorn tears analogy here) you’ll make a few quid and that’s nice or maybe you want to use it?
It has a full tank of LPG, a new vaporiser that I fitted and the gas works too, and at least half a tank of the golden unleaded stuff.
18 button OBC, cruise control works, AC dual zone seems to work, clears the screen but it’s not exactly hot presently,
Headliner is droopy at the rear but some glue and staples usually sorts that.
Pulls like a train, diff not noisy but does need a rear wheel bearing as it’s noisy but not worn enough to fail a Halfords MOT and we all know they love to rack the bills up.
