built in 1945, serial number GPW 255778 one of a batch of jeeps sent to the British Army in march 1945, I have replaced all the wheel cylinders and cleaned the drums and brake shoes, Its had recent new front and rear flexi hoses and new brake shoe return springs, the brake drums are all excellent with no wear ridges or grooves and the bearings and hub seals look to have been replaced recently, the jeep is 12 volt converted with a period dynamo fitted

all lights working including indicators and horn, gearbox nice and easy to change with quiet running gears, hand brake is good and the gpw engine sounds very sweet and pulls well, the cooling system is clean with no rusty water , tyres are all good with no perishing, Its original ww2 split rim wheels and springs, sheller steering wheel, many original fittings have been retained when the jeep was extensively refurbished aprox 38 years ago

the jeep has a drivers seat conversion to accommodate for a larger owner
