1955 Alvis TC21 Greylady Tickford Convertible, finished In bugandy over silver with burgundy leather and hood. Re furbished Wire wheels with new tires and new chrome spinners. One of only 100 cars produced and believed to be one of 70 left. Matching numbers with original registration number. Low ownership with history.
This was the last of the line and a genuine 100mph car in period. The motoring press of the day loved them.
The car is very useable just enjoy as it is, the leather is in good condition, the hood is water tight however the head lining needs replacing ' it has a full tonneau cover it could do with a repaint' but you don't have to.
It has recently had the brakes overhauled , a new clutch, new voltage regulator , new tires and new chrome wheel spinners.
The car now has a new set of correct stainless steel front and rear bumpers with over riders, they look great.
Quite rare these days , worth a lot more if the paintwork improved ( but why ? )
I have used it and enjoyed it

New price. A superb sporty saloon, exported new in 1954 to New Zealand where she had 3 owners and was refurbished by the last owner in 2012 and I acquired and brought her back to the UK in 2015.
