1972 MORRIS MINOR 1000 8CWT VAN. 1275cc MG ENGINE. TRAFALGAR BLUE.
This really nice Morris Minor 1000 van was first registered 1st March 1972 and is the rarer 8cwt model and it must be one of the last Minor vans registered. The lovely paintwork in Trafalgar Blue looks great with the cream wheels fitted with the chrome trim rings. Inside the van the seats have been replaced with some comfy bucket seats and it has been fitted with harness style seat belts. The original seats come with the van should the new owner wish to fit them. Under the bonnet is a bit special with a freshly rebuilt 1275cc engine and rebuilt gearbox from an MG midget with twin carbs and a rather throaty side exit exhaust. The engine has only just been fitted so a running in period would be advised. It certainly sounds and goes a lot better than standard and is a hoot to drive. There is an original workshop manual, drivers handbook and sales brochure along with some receipts and MOT's in the file. It has also been fitted with an 81 sound machine maker and a very loud Klaxon horn that makes people get out of the way! The van is now 47 years old so is Road Tax and MOT exempt.
