MGB GT 1966,
Good fast road car or could easily be used as Historic road rally car,
Engine is fitted with Derington type NXS Cross|Flow head with twin 45 Weber carbs, 3 branch exhaust manifold, Remote oil filter , electronic igniton, Just been set up on rolling road 107 BHP
The brakes have been upgraded in the past with Princess 4 pot calipers,
Front and Rear telescopic shocks, Electric cooling fan, Overdrive Gearbox is also fitted
Interior benefits from period bucket seat, door cards are good, but the carpets could do with some work. We have the original seats to go with the car but they do need new covers
Its MOT'd till August 2020, Had 5 pevious owners, Mileage is 33350 NOT guaranteed
The car itself is in generally good condition for a 1966 MGB, it has had some welding and paint work as you would expect for a car of this age, but its in usable condition and not full of rot, there is a small amount of rust coming through on the O/S/F wing by the headlamp and the green paintwork on the car has had the odd blow in, in the past,
This car has been standing for a few years, until recently and has got a small amount of surface rust on the underside
To sum up its not a Show car but its NOT a restoration project, I would call it a usable everyday classic that just needs a little TLC
We have now fitted a new set of tailgate badges so the G is not missing
Please note we are selling this for a customer, he is open to sensible offers
We are always looking for nice clean MG stock, Midgets, BGTs, Roadsters, MG 1100s, Magnettes, MGA's etc
Instant decisions with prompt payment and same day payment either by bank transfer or cash.
Full restoration required for this early and quite rare MK1 GT. Castle sections and sills are good, comes with original aluminium bonnet and interior, non overdrive gearbox.
Will be a valuable asset.....
