1998 Seat ibiza rally/recce car lhd ex-factory For Sale

Unique variant of a rare car. I purchased this car a few years ago from a gentleman who worked for seat sport in period and had acquired a bunch of cars when the seat sport operation disspanded.

this car was used by gywndaf evans as a recce car in 1997, starting with the 1997 rac rally gb. This was gwyndaf's debut for seat sport after his switch from ford. The history of the car after that is somewhat unknown, however i am happy to discuss my findings so far... these indicate that it had probably more than one career...

when i acquired the car she was sat on seized proflex dampers and sported a kevlar underfloor and tank guard. The kevlar underfloor has since been removed, however the tank guard is still fitted. I have recommissioned her gradually over the past few years, with a nod to use in hillclimbing/sprinting. I have fitted many new components where required, such as ast dampers, gearbox rebuilt with peloquin diff etc...

i am only trying to find a new home for this rare piece of 90's competition history due to an ongoing house project and therefore lack of storage at home (currently in storage nearby) and lack of time to use as intended.

i feel that this is a very difficult value and would prefer the car to go someone who will look after and use her as intended...
