This vehicle is probably the most awarded car in Tarmac Rallying, over 120 trophies including multiple wins and podiums in Targa Tasmania, Classic Adelaide and Targa High Country (Outright and Handicap) and several championship series wins, totally sorted after the first few years with many performance upgrades and ‘no expense spared’ maintenance through its 14 years of competition life. Ready and able to top the podium again and will go into the Targa ‘Hall of Fame’ on its next Targa. Without doubt the most well known vehicle of the Jensen Marque worldwide. Truly amazing and predictable handling characteristics with awesome acceleration, 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, 235km top speed on 3.1:1 final drive, 603 flywheel horsepower and over 560lb/ft torque on a lazy 6,000 rpm limiter. 50/50 weight distribution (from standard) and bulletproof driveline. The car can be seen in action on youtube if you search Jensen CV8 Tarmac Rally. Check it out and I think you will agree its a very impressive car!
