UK road registered on age related plate so no MOT or road tax. In excellent condition. First registered November 1926 with Eastchester Tuckahoe New York (see photo of engine outside the fire station in 1926). Still has the original big 6 cylinder 14.5 litre T head engine. Runs perfectly, we did around 500 miles with it this summer. It’s perfect for a car conversion but it’s really in too good a condition to pull it apart. I’ve never before owned a classic vehicle that’s made people invite us to so many events and beg us to bring it along. I’m looking to sell it or to part exchange for a four seater Lagonda or Alvis type tourer with cash either way.
Here is a film of the engine in action in 1927. I bet there isn’t another one as old as this with a film of it in service. Google “a little piece of tuckahoe history-fireman”
