The MHR MkI was released in 1979 to commemorate Mike Hailwood’s epic victory at the previous year’s TT. In 1980, Ducati came out with the MkII, very close to its predecessor but now with a steel tank and FPS wheels instead of the Campagnalos on the MkI.
Ours is a 1982 Mk3. Cosmetically it is in quite nice condition but there are a number of issues the buyer needs to be aware of. I have tried to highlight these on the walkaround video but here is a breakdown: surface rust on brake discs; small chips on rims, paint chips on lower front forks, small scratches midway up the right faring, scratches near base of right faring; slight ageing on Conti mufflers; paint bubbling on side panels; small flaw in left side of tank where the horn button has made contact; paint flaking from clutch lever, ignition bracket and in three places inside cowling below the windscreen; cracks in paint at rear above rear light.
As you can see, there are a number of jobs to be done before she can be called mint, but they are largely small things. We are leaving it for the new owner to decide how much to do. It is priced to reflect these correctable imperfections. We encourage any potential buyer to view in person and would be happy to send any close-up photos that may be required.
Mechanically she is sound and will be serviced before being sold.

This Bike has been started 2 times and it has been in Germany at a collector and has all German Papers.
Now it is here in Denmark at another collector, as you can see it has been stored.....
