The car is shown in sport configuration but all the following original parts are available:

Entered in the Triple Register M with number 3626.
• Born in blue color.
• Original engine n.1080 AP.
• Body n.MG 520.
• Carbodies n.452.
Completed on April 26, 1934 and sold on May 5 to Miss G.Gasser of Portsmouth.
The agent was Wadhan Brother of Waterlooville Hampshire.
Imported in Italy to the customs of Ventimiglia in 1961 and registered in La Spezia on 26/09/1962 with office V.I.N. 1121/1.
Registered in the public car register to the first owner with license plate SP28193, it was subsequently sold in 1968 to a collector from Turin with registration TO A93178.
Later it passed to the QUATTRORUOTE MUSEUM.
After the death of Mazzocchi, owner of Domus editorial and of the Quattroruote Museum, part of the collection went to the IFAS Museum in Turin.
The car was later sold to a collector from Turin who gave it up after a while to the last owner who carried out the complete restoration bringing it to its present state.
The car is equipped with a BRC (British Motor Corporation) Ford E63 series engine, a simple and indestructible side valve engine.
Much more reliable than the MG engine which had a known problem of shelling of the bevel gear coupling with the overhead camshaft.
In the MGs used for competitions it was a usual transformation to replace the engine with an E63 to be combined with an Aquaplane head and manifold.
Alternatively, a compressor could be combined.
Mg specialist Barry Walker has owned various Mg PA and PB series with the same type of modification, i.e. using the BRC E63 engine.
This reliable and generous engine was mounted on many British sports cars at the turn of the world war.
It continued to remain in production for its talents until after the war when it was also installed on the early Lotus.
Before the restoration, a black and white checkered Flag was painted on the radiant mass, a typical finish of English cars used in competitions.
The car most likely has a sporting past in England.

PA0786 was acquired by Andrew Bradshaw in 2002 in barn find condition, largely complete and original, including the engine block which was changed by the factory in September 1934 after only 5 month.....
The MG PA was introduced in 1934 and was a development of the earlier MG J-Type. The engine was an 847cc four-cylinder version of the Morris Minor/Wolseley ohc 10hp unit and produced a lively 36bhp.....
