Austin Healey 100 Full Race Car

Absolutely immaculate. Rebuilt by us with a new chassis during 2019. For sale due to a change of plans by our client.

Long racing history, dating back to at least the 1980's firstly in UK, then America, then UK again.

Full aluminium body. Painted in Old English White with Lobelia side panels. The same as the 100S's.

Full race WCE spec. engine with twin 1 3/4" H6 SU carburetors & WCE race air-box. Full race side exhaust.

BN2 straight cut, close ratio 'Sebring' gearbox with competition overdrive.

BN2 rear axle & brakes.

Front Dunlop disc brakes.

Dual brake master cylinders with balance bar.

Full race WCE spec. suspension set up.

High ratio steering box with split safety column.

New aluminium foam filled 100 liter fuel tank, with twin high capacity pumps. Giving between 2 1/2 & 3 hours race time, depending on the circuit & driver.

Single hoop roll bar & reinforced tonneau.

Since the rebuild the car has only completed one test/set up day at Silverstone, where it ran faultlessly.

Eligible for the best UK & European race meetings including, Le Mans Classic, Tour Auto, Spa 3 hrs & 6 hrs, Donington Historic, Silverstone Classic & potentially Goodwood Members Meeting in the right year.
