Very interesting 1928 Rolls Royce with sporting tourer coachwork in the style of or ex 4 1/2 litre Cricklewood Bentley.Would make the perfect platform for a Bentley Blower Replica,just change the grille and bonnet.Coachwork by George Haddow of Saltburn, Haddow of Saltburn makers plate is still with the car,Haddow bodied a small number of Vintage Bentleys in the style of contempory Van den Plas.Engineer Robin Cooke worked out that the 4 litre R Rolls Royce engine could be mated to the pre war gearbox, so he manufactured the appropriate brackets and fitting kit, which is what this car has,very rare and unusual.Has been kept in a dry garage for the last 20 years approx,engine runs and drives but will need recomissioning,will make a perfect project for someone with more time on there hands than myself.Please feel free to phone for more details.
