1961 Jaguar 3.8 Mark 2. Manual overdrive.
Light British Racing Green with excellent Suede Green interior and chrome wires.
The original registration from new is 3GNK.
The mileage displayed is 78,285 which when reading the cars excellent history one would assume to be correct.
This Jaguar was purchased on 23/6/1961 by a Mr E G Roberts (a company accountant) from Imperial Motor Mart Cheltenham.
Mr Roberts kept the car until the 16/10/1980 when it was sold to Mr Sinclair.
There is considerable service history and invoices during Mr Roberts' (the first owner) ownership including a replacement 3.8 engine.
Mr Sinclair 2nd owner appears to have done only 1,100 miles in his ownership and then sold the car to the 3rd owner in 2012.
We purchased the Jaguar on 7/1/2013 for our Jaguar collection and removed all the paint to check the bodywork before repainting.

The original wheel spats are with the car, also the full set of original steel factory wheels.
The Jaguar left the factory with the rare high ratio steering which we believe was a Coombs option.
The engine sounds and pulls strong and has excellent oil pressure.
We do not believe in separating number plates from historic cars but as a matter of interest registration 1 GNK is currently on sale at £39,995 by Reg Transfers.
