VW RHD T2 1973 Westfalia bay window Campervan.
Tax and MOT exempt due to the age.
Selling Penelope due to not using her and due to having a 3 year old and 1 year old twins and need funds for a loft extension.
We brought her 6 years ago and decided to restored her for our wedding and since then (5 years) we have not used her other then driving to the MOT station, other then this it’s been garaged.
My husband and I have a lot of pictures taken during the restore, loads of previous history dating back many years before ownership, Log book states 12 pervious owners which is not bad for a vehicle 47 years old.
Had Been restored and painted in pink and cream and is in mint condition and not a sign of rust anywhere. Welding was completed at last restoration with receipts to prove this. Underneath is solid as a ox.
All new locks (cab, sliding door, boot and engine compartment) now opening with one key (+spare). New mirror, window seals, door deals.
Original Westfalia interior with pull down gas cooker, cool box fridge, sink and storage, wardrobe. Electric lighting on a leisure battery with a few 3 pin plug sockets. Rock and roll bed and push up bed on top. Seat belts fitted all round. Few marks in the front seat of wear.
It never misses a beat, with new cutch and fuel line fitted last MOT. New belts and pulleys fitted. New internal and external seals fitted for engine compartment. Serviced by my self with new oil, plugs and leads, points, ignition coil last week and serviced at every MOT.
So if you would like a viewing or have any other questions please message me.
I have a approximately price of £600 to wrap the campervan from a local company.
