No expense spared restoration, This is a wood Chassis Marcos , one of ~ 250 Wood Chassis cars built before 1969 and one ~75 GT 1500’s , the construction is an aircraft stye wood monocoque wrapped in a fiberglass body. The car is very light to begin with and during restoration additional weight saving measures were taken. Under 1000 miles since restoration completed just enough to work out the quirks.
Engine: Period Cosworth long block engine. Cosworth Steel Rods and Crankshaft , Cosworth billet main caps with square shoulders.  JE Forged pistonsFull race head sourced from Tony Ingram - incorporates all the current thinking on how to get power out of a pre-crossflow head.Cosworth Manifolds, port matched by Tony Ingram Weber 40 DCOE Carbs - rebuilt and rejetted to suit motor 4-2-1 Stainless race header designed by Joe Allenby Byrne ( UK pre-cross flow expert who collaborates with Tony Ingram ) “California DrySump “Johnson OilPump with modified oil-pan and pickups , oil feed is to main gallery for better flow . remote oil filter and oil-cooler. 3X the cost of typical systems. Marcos Valve coverAll lines aeroquip and either anodize removed or nickel in color. Engine build done by Wagner Motorsports.
- details above cut lengthwise to expose wood . All suspect wood was replaced with Mahogany faced Mil Spec aircraft plywood and Sitka Spruce (Howard Hughes Flying Boat) and used aircraft construction techniques: Mil Spec Epoxy coated , brass plated , steel nails and aircraft structural adhesive . all materials sourced from Aircraft Spruce . All attachment brackets and subframe were inspected and either repaired of remanufactured. All metal chassis fixtures were powdercoated to the correct color. All fasteners are AN or Hi Graded including the stainless used. Wood coated with West clear epoxy except for back deck with received a coat of Valspar to block UV. 
- details above stripped to gel coating.  Imperfections corrected with epoxy. Cracks ground out and flooded with epoxy mix that includes a fiber that will bind the crack to assure that it will not crack again.Aircraft light weight filler used throughout to reduce weight (car weighs about 1600 lbs)  Body work refinished with  PPG system of epoxy primer , K36 surface primer and Concept for Topcoats. Color is Slate Grey . Unusual to find a Marcos that did not have a sun roof cut into the roof. .Original glass is with car and a new rear window with proper for 1966 vent was remade using original broken rear window ( remade in polycarbonate as original).
New headlight covers and gaskets purchased from MARCOS heritage. 
Re-chromed all brightwork. New OEM chrome flip/filler cap . 
Suspension and brakes: All New - New old stock GT6 front control arms and refurbed GT6 uprights and Stubaxles. New alloy caliper brackets and new alloy hubs with PB6 calipers . new aeroquip brake hoses and fittings . New Avo alloy bodied adjustable shocks with adj Spring perches and ~225 lbs springs. New ?”  front swaybar with solid mounts fabricated to suit.. New rear links with rod ends fabricated by wagner motorsports. New chassis mounts, new AVO adjustable shocks and ~150lbs springs. New rear disk brakes and calipers . Rear axles and diff inspected and rebuilt by Wagner motorsports. All suspension pieces powder coated in E50 Black (satin finish per OEM )  All flexible brake lines done in Aeroquip, All new hardlines done in correct english spec materials with correct flares and banjo fittings. Brake master converted to twin master with adjustable balance bar ( hard to do and still maintain adjustable pedal box) all new master cylinders girling and tilton compact. 
Electrical: New Wiring harness with correct Lucas bullet connectors used throughout. Kept all original gauges - refurbed. Combination of new and original switches and controls. Headlamps and buckets are new. Tail lamps restored ( rare/unobtanium , used two pair to make one good for the car ) new back up lights. Maserati Airhorns , original to car and restored to working order. Windshield wiper system original to car and restored to working order ( new blades and chrome drive box covers ) New voltage regulator, flashers, new battery, electric fuel pump, rear license plate light , front turn signal lights. Instrument panel /Dash refinished in Flumed wood and topcoated with PPG clear urethane.   - details above interior used as patterns for a new interior executed  in leather and vinyl. Carpeting is wool german square-weave, footwell carpets are removable.  Steering wheel is original to the car and unrestored. New black headliner. Original rear-view mirror re-miorrored. 
Other items of note: Quaife alloy cased ford t9 with quaife quick shift. Aluminum bell-housingTilton clutch with aluminum racing flywheelNew drive shaft. Pace Annular clutch release. Fuel tank - hot dipped and resprayed with ppg satin black epoxy , new fuel sender. All aeroquip to new facet fuel pump and filter and fuel pressure regulator in trunk. New 8-spoke 6x13 minilite style wheels with new pirelli CN36 tires (185x13/70) Suspension set up by race engineer.

Marcos GT 3.0 Litre V6 believe Martina completely unique brand new Marcos. Both Spyder and Coupe versions were available, 80 cars were made between 1991 and 1994 at Westbury. This is a rare car in.....

The ultimate Marcos. This is the very last Marcos to be built at the original factory in Westbury. Full factory GT specification. Engine assembled with forged pistons, hardened rods and ARP bolts.....

The Marcos Martina ultimately was the saviour of Marcos when launched in the early nineties. Sold only in component form, the proceeds of every sale were put directly into the research and development.....
